I ran a short survey targeting my audience (women aged 18 - 30) to see what they were looking for in comics. 42 people responded to the survey which isn't a huge sample size but it is enough to get a quick look at what people like. ideal I would have a much larger sample size but then there would be a lot of data affecting the product rather than the narrative its self and what story i want to tell. The main points that came back were Non-Male leads, No Heterosexual Romance, No Cliched protagonists (mary-sues who are perfect and loved.), More LGBT inclusion A lot of these fit very nicely with the current narrative and the initial impromptus of a Non-Binary/Gender Ambiguous (someone who doesn't adhere to male or female gender alignments), and the fact that I myself do not wish to write a heterosexual relationship into the story.
As far as characters are concerned for this story I've got down a cast which i feel is appropriate with different roles.
