Graphic Novels are a narrative format which allows readers of an enormous range to get invoved with stories and reading. Its a huge part of the entertainment industry and is so wdely available in multipul formats now with the addition of kindle and being able to read online or import from overseas. Within the last thirty years the market of Graphic Novels and Comics has grown beyond the boundaries of big companies such as Marvel and DC (even though they still hold a monopoly on the industy) alowing smaller indpendant artists to get their work out there. What my aim is for this project is to begin to work on a graphic novel of my own, only the first chapter to be produced for this project because of time frame and drawing speeds, but with the intention and hope that it can be continued on in the future. I dont aim to make something that will be an instant hit or take the market by storm and become famous from it, I just aim to tell a story to people as it is what I do best. 

Starting with research into what kind of audience i want to tell a story for, highly possiby young women intrested in seeing other women not be reduced to eyecandy, I will move on to the format and method in which i want to tell a story and with it work on the design and narrative form.
